The Town of Chester 50+ Club (for seniors over 50) meet for pot luck supper on the second Monday of every month at 6 PM at the Conservtion Club. New members and visitors are always welcome at meetings.

The club was founded in 1994 and now has 400+ combined family and individual memberships. We have various member-only social activities, such as snowmobiling picnics and parties.

The Horicon Free Public Library provides books and other educational materials to children and adults in the community. Programs are always free and open to the public and they are both educational and entertaining.
Local business owners & residents meet to organize events and improvements to our communities. Brant Lake Winter Carnival, St. Patrick's Day Parade, Chestertown Farmer's Market, An Adirondack Woof Stock, Rum Runner's Weekend, A Taste of the Tri-Lakes, and monthly car hops. All are welcome to attend these very informal meetings held every other Friday 9 a.m. at the Panther Mtn. Inn.
