North Warren Announces Meet the Candidates Nights
Town of Horicon November 1 and Town of Chester November 2
Chestertown, NY: October 23, 2017—The North Warren Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring two Meet the Candidates nights for the Towns of Horicon and Chester.
The Town of Horicon event will be held at the Horicon Community Center on State Route 8, Brant Lake (on the Mill Pond) on Wednesday, November 1 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The Town of Chester event will be held at the Chester Municipal Center on State Route 9/Main Street, Chestertown on Thursday, November 2 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The Town of Horicon’s slate is:
Town Highway Supervisor: Darian Granger (running unopposed)
Town Supervisor: Matt Simpson (running unopposed)
Town Court Judge: Kevin Kilcullen (incumbent) and Donald Gallone
Town Board Seats (2): Frank Hill, Bob Olson (incumbents,) and Pat Farrell
The Town of Chester’s slate is:
Town Board Seats (2): Karen Du Rose (incumbent), Larry Turcotte, John Schafer, and Al Muench.
During the events, each candidate will be given 15 minutes to introduce himself/herself and explain why he/she is the best person for the job. The audience will be given a chance to ask questions.
Events will be moderated by the North Warren Chamber of Commerce staff, Deb Eves and Lynn Engelmann. “We are pleased to bring this event to the communities we serve,” said Chamber Marketing Manager, Deb Eves. “We look forward to meeting the candidates and residents.”
