- Start at Chester Recreation Area, head down Route 8, continue for two miles then turn left onto Friends Lake Road, Circle the lake, Back to Route 8 and you’re back at the start.

- Distance: 1.6 miles

- There are 2 trail heads, the Caroline Fish Memorial Trail head and the Dynamite Hill trail head. Multiple loops for hiking/snow shoeing/cross country skiing.
- These trails are also part of the Chester Challenge.
